About New Bowling Green, Warwick

Traditional British Pub in a 15th Century Grade II* listed building. We also boast one of the best enclosed beer gardens in Warwickshire.

Our traditional menu of pub favourites is cooked to order and is available Monday to Thursday evening's and all day Friday and Saturday.

We make all of our pies by hand on site. There are always up to 10 different flavours available including Steak & Ale, Chicken & Mushroom, Pork, Apple & Black Pudding, Cauliflower Cheese, Cheese, Leek & Potato, Mushroom & Guinness (vg), Vegan Sausage & Onion or our Signature BOLWERS' Beef. We also have a selection of gluten free pies available.

On Sunday we have our Sunday Lunch menu available, booking is essential.

We try to cater for all tastes and always have Gluten Free, Vegetarian and Vegan options. A large proportion of our menu is also availlable as a smaller portion for those with a smaller appetite. It is accompanied by a wide selection of wines, spirits, soft drinks and traditional ales. We are extremely proud of our Sunday lunch menu; for the meat eaters among you we have Pork & Lamb which are both cooked overnight, we also have 14 hour cooked Beef Brisket, braised in red wine & garlic sauce or Roast Chicken, all of which come with all the trimmings including Yorkshire pudding and Cauliflower Cheese. Plus every Sunday we have 2 Vegan options available with the option to add Vegan Cauliflower Cheese and Vegan Yorkies. We can also do a Gluten Free full Sunday Lunch, which will just be missing the yorkie. We are a very small pub with a small kicthen so booking is highly recommended, especially on Sunday and peak times through the week.

To the rear of the pub, far from the bustle of the town, is our delightful garden, a hidden gem in the heart of the town. It's a real treat on a sunny day to get away from it all and enjoy for an hour or two. If the weather is good then the BBQ will be lit and we will be serving our wonderful shack menu to the garden. This is weather dependent but is generally open 5.30pm - 8.30pm on Friday, 12.30pm - 8.30pm on Saturday and 12.30pm - 5pm on Sunday.

Although on street parking is difficult, we are easilly accessed from St. Nicholas Park car park which is Free of Charge after 6pm, so why not give us a try.
